The historic city of Yogyakarta became the backdrop for the Global Millennial Model United Nations (GM MUN). Hosted at the legendary Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel, this international conference successfully gathered hundreds of young visionaries for an immersive simulation of the United Nations, marking a new chapter in youth leadership and global engagement.

With over 500 students from 10 different nations,  including Italy, Lebanon, Singapore, the Philippines, and beyond, GM MUN 2026 stands as one of the largest international Model UN forums in Indonesia. Curated by the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, the conference holds a prestigious status as a legitimate platform for national and international student achievement.

An Inclusive & Cultural Experience To foster growth across all ages, the conference featured three specialized participation tiers; Junior Level (Under 15), Senior Level (15–18), Open Level (Under 30).

Beyond the debate floor, delegates experienced a rich tapestry of global perspectives and local traditions. A highlight of the event was the Ladosan Dhahar, a majestic Royal Yogyakarta banquet tradition that allowed international delegates to connect through the local heritage of the Sultanate.
